Beloved in the Lord,
Our message titled, Three Steps To ‘Live Out‘ The Great Commission At Work, is going to cover the next three days.
Today, our focus is on FRIENDSHIP.
May the Holy Spirit minister deeply into our hearts, the message He has for us today.
SCRIPTURE: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20 NIV)
Start a relationship with one or two people, and it could be a simple lunch invitation, one-on-one meeting, or social event invite.
Begin to find out about that person’s life and become a true friend over time.
Befriending others was the early church’s method of evangelism, discipleship and worship. God brings to our attention people in our lives with whom we are called to cultivate a holy friendship with.
Early on, Christians began to see themselves as people who had been befriended by God, It was in our friendships that we found ourselves being saved. Holy friendships, like the divine friendship of the Trinity, became the most basic way of life among those who followed Jesus. They practiced friendships that were holy that made them whole and their friendships, like Trinity, always made room for the others.

“For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires” – Hebrews 4 : 12 (NLT)
