SCRIPTURE: “Blessed are those you have choose and bring near to live in your courts! We are filled with the good things of Your house of Your holy Temple”. (Psalm 65:4 NIV). One greatest joy is to be near God and enjoy communion with Him. This is now possible for all believers through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 10:10-22) and therefore the indwelling Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18). The Bible exhorts us to draw near to God continually, that we must receive His mercy and strength to help us in our times of need (Hebrews 4:16, and 7:25). Our greatest shame would be to treat lightly this privilege of nearness with God, considering it to be unworthy of constant endeavors (Heb. 10:36-39). |
