Scripture:
“Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children” – Ephesians 5:1
Message:
Most of us have a role model to which we aspire to be like, whether it is a teacher, a parent, an employer or even a friend, we want to be like them.
Yet, there is a much better role model for us, a perfect role model for you and me – Jesus Christ. Never g=forget that He lived and worked just like us and was subject to all the temptations, frustrations, joys and sorrows to which you and I are subject to.
Allow the Holy Spirit to take control of your life and manage it in a way that is acceptable to God. Then you will display a measure of likeness to Christ that will glorify God.
Prayer:
Lord, transform me into your image more and more. Transfigure me so that I may become more like You in my behavior, thoughts and words. Amen
