Scripture:
“When my life was ebbing away, I remembered You, Lord, and my prayer rose to You, to Your holy temple”. – Jonah 2:7
Message:
Many people deny themselves the privilege of the peace of God, simply because they feel too undeserving to talk to God.
Yet Jesus promised that He will not cast out anybody who comes to Him. He also emphasized that He did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to salvation. Throughout the Scriptures you can read of His unfathomable mercy and endless love that reach out to all people: the good and the bad, the worthy and the unworthy.
However unworthy you may feel at this moment, reach out to Him in prayer and He will take you by the hand – and nobody will snatch you from Him.
Prayer:
Father, I want to live my life glorifying you. Help me not to lose sight of you when times are difficult. Guide me towards obedience through Your Spirit. Amen.
