SCRIPTURE: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” ( John 16:33 NIV) Storms are not stones, nor are evil-sent. They are bread from the Father to be received with thanksgiving for our good. Even when Satan stirs up the wind, as in the case of Job, God will still have His way in the whirlwind and the storm. It is God’s design that we experience maturing love in our walk with Him. The storms of life that Jesus leads us into will help reveal some areas of our life that are not under the Holy Spirit’s control; thank God we will also see Jesus manifested in the storms, giving us a greater view of God and God’s purpose for our lives. To be able to get through the storms of life, a Christian must say with full assurance, as (Nahum 1:3), “The Lord hath His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet” Source: Culled from, Growing Through The Storms Of Life, by E.
