Our message for today is titled, God’s Presence, and it is based on Psalm 65:4a.

SCRIPTURE: “Blessed are those who You choose and bring near to live in Your courts!” (Psalm 65:4a) One greatest joy should be to sense God’s presence and to enjoy personal interaction and companionship with Him. This is possible for all who accept the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for our sins as we read in Hebrews 10:10-22. We can continually experience God’s presence though His Holy Spirit who lived in and through those who have accepted Christ’s forgiveness and entrusted Him with the leadership to their lives (1 Cor. 6:19, 2 Cor.1:22, 1 John 3:24, 1 John 4:13) The Bible challenges us to come near to God continually, that we might receive His mercy and strength to help us in our times of need. (Heb. 4:16; 7:25) What a shame to take this privilege for granted as to neglect God’s presence, as if He were not wealthy of constant attention.(Heb. 10:36-39). Let us fill our hearts with the joy of knowing that we are loved infinitely and eternally. |
