“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?” – Romans 8:35
Message
Paul asks a penetrating question here. He implies that nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. He even mentions things that could attempt to do so: trouble or hardship, persecution, famine or nakedness, danger or sword. He comes to the conclusion that nothing will be able to separate us “from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:39).
God loves you. This truth should give you comfort, strength and encouragement. Although it is a fact that God’s love surrounds you, many people do not experience it because they erect barriers against it. Break down those barriers so that you may experience God’s love in your life daily.
Prayer
Holy Spirit, make me aware of You residing in me, so that my life will reflect Your glory and love. Amen.
