| SCRIPTURE TEXT: “(I am praying) that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him” —Ephesians 1:17 There are many things that you can pray about in a day. One of the most important prayers that should be on our lips is your desire to know God more and more. This is a prayer that God longs to answer. How does God answer that prayer? Ephesians 1:17 tells us that God’s answer does not come to us as information to our brain, but as revelation to our spirit. It is in your spirit that you come to know God in a personal and intimate way. Your natural mind can gather many facts and volumes of information about God, and yet not truly know Him at all. In order for you to know God, He must reveal Himself to you. PRAYER: Dear Lord, reveal Yourself to me so I can know You more and more. Amen |
