“If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault; and it will be given to him” – James 1:5
Many people believe that to live a truly spiritual life, you need to live in seclusion; where the realities of life are either ignored or forgotten.
However, the lessons Jesus taught along the dusty roads of Palestine were very spiritual, yet essential practical. For Him, everything – every thought and deed – was an expression of His relationship with His heavenly Father. Therefore, true Christians do not divide their lives into compartments, because all of their lives should be an expression of the spiritual.
Christianity touches the realities of every day and enables you to look, to a certain extent, at other people’s problems as God does.
O Spirit, take control of my life and let everything I do and say be an expression of my love for you. Amen.
